 
Yavuz GÜLERCE was born in Sivrihisar, Eskisehir on 18th March 1938. After completing his education in the elementary and high school, he took up business in the automotive and tourism industries. He started his horsemanship life in the year 1992. He has won many cups with the purebred Arabian horses; Yavuzhan, Bamka 3, Caş, Yelhan, Bilgin, Magrip Demirkazık and Koşanefe, thoroughbred horses; Bizim Ayancıklı, Mystery Storm, Gülerceler’s Star, Tamada, Postdulivian and Heart to Heart. On this race, we remembered Yavuz Gulerce one more time with respect and mercy, who deceased March 16, 2006.
ZEPKA (k.d. Kaizbert – Arukan), a purebred Arabian race horse of Süleyman Altunbaş, with the jockey Gökhan Kocakaya won the race in which three-year-old purebred Arabian race horses participated (1.19.65), organized in Istanbul Veliefendi Race Course on 21st October 2009, Wednesday, turf course race of 1200 meters. MERTKAL took the second place and SARRAF and BABA BÜYÜ took the third and fourth place successively (distances, neck– head - 3 heights). City of Greater Eskişehir Mayor Prof.Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen gave the cup former chairman Ömer Faruk Girgin, on behalf of owner of the horse that won the race.
Eskişehir Tepebaşı Mayor Ahmet Ataç gave a bouquet on behalf of owner of the horse that won the race to Ömer Faruk Girgin in the cup ceremony. Former Minister of Health Dr.Mete Tan gave a bouquet on behalf of trainer of the horse that won the race to Turkish Jockey Club founding member Can Güven. Board chairman of Sarar Group Mr. Cemalettin Sarar gave a bouquet to the Jockey who won the race.
Behçet Homurlu and Sadettin Sükan, chairman and founding member of the Jockey Club of Turkey successively, and members of the Family Gulerce participated in the cup ceremony in the VIP Lounge .
