BUTEUR (a.a. Marlin - Darlin Clementine) a thoroughbred of Nurbiye Gülerce, with the jockey Halis Karataş in 1.22.09, won the race in which four-year-old and up thoroughbred race horses participated.
YENİ LİRA took the second place and DE NIRO took the third and BERRAKSU took the fourth place successively in the race organized in Istanbul Veliefendi Race Course on 21st June 2009, Sunday, turf course race of 1400 meters. (KV - 8 / S) (Distances, 5 height - 3 height – ½ height).
Şadi Gücüm, the first grandchild of the deceased Şadi Eliyeşil, gave the cup Gülnur Gülerce on behalf of owner of the horse that won the race.
Ö.S.Necmettin Eliyeşil grandchild son of the deceased Şadi Eliyeşil and founding member of the Jockey Club of Turkey, gave a plaque to Mücahit Kaya, the trainer of the horse that won the race. Şerife Karamehmet, grandchild of the deceased Şadi Eliyeşil gave a plaque to jockey Halis Karataş during the cup ceremony in the VIP Lounge.
Behçet Homurlu, chairman of the Jockey Club of Turkey successively, and members of the Family Gulerce participated in the cup ceremony.
