2008 YAVUZ GÜLERCE
SUZIRA (a.d. Kobra–Suzi), a thoroughbred race horse of Selman Erdemirci, with the jockey Gokhan Kocakaya in 1.19.37, won the Yavuz Gulerce Horse Race, organized in Istanbul Veliefendi Hippodrome on 12th October 2008, Sunday. In the horse race of , in which three-year-old purebred Arabian race horses participated, (KV – 7 / DHOW) YALCINER took the second place, SADRAZAM the third place, and TAYBARS the fourth place (Distances: nose – 1/2 height – 1/2 height) Nurbiye Gulerce, spouse of the deceased Yavuz Gulerce, gave the cup to Selman Erdemirci, owner of the horse that won the race.
